Golf Course - Hotel Golf Château de Chailly

Established in 1990, the Golf de Château de Chailly is a parkland style championship course that meanders around streams that come into play on three holes.

The stunning 11th semi-island par three is the course’s signature hole with excellent views of the Chateau in the background. It’s a challenging course especially from the back tees with water hazards and large bunkers but the average golfer will also enjoy the stunning countryside and warm welcome.

There is a well stocked pro shop, covered driving range bays, and a large practice area.

Tees Distance Slope
White Tees 6 160 meters 140
Yellow Tees 5 880 meters 139
Blue Tees 5 219 meters 138
Red Tees 4 888 meters 134

Travelling by Car

Bison Futé

Is a really useful website operated by the french ministry of transport. It gives information on live traffic conditions including roadworks, traffic jams and safety advice.

Eurotunnel Le Shuttle

Taking your own car on the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle is one of the most convenient ways of travelling to France. Crossings only take 35 minutes from Folkestone to Calais, the fastest way to get to the continent by car. The service operates round the clock, 365 days a year.

It has its own motorway junction (11a M20), access to the Passenger Terminal could not be simpler. Before boarding, you drive through both UK and French frontier controls. On arrival you simply drive off the shuttle and onto the European motorway network.

Ferry crossings to France with DFDS

With three different ferry routes from the UK to France, DFDS gives you the choice and flexibility to suit your travel plans. Crossings from Dover to Calais and Dover to Dunkirk, as well as from Newhave to Dieppe, all with comfortable onboard facilities.

Travelling with your car on one of our regular ferry crossings to France means you don’t have to worry about luggage limits, and you can travel around Europe at your own pace.

Travelling by Air

Most of the UK airports have at least one flight to France’s 170 arrival points. There are good value fares and short flight times. So, if you forget your golf shoes at home (although not advisable), it might be possible to pop back to get them without breaking the bank and still make your tee time.

Our French Leave Holidays flight-inclusive packages are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. Please refer to our booking conditions or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL certificate visit www.atol.org.uk/ATOLCertificate

Travelling by Train

French National Railways (SNCF) has an extensive rail network with direct Eurostar and great onward connecting services. Some courses are a short taxi ride from the nearest train station. Like all public transport, there are fewer luggage restrictions so taking your own equipment is easy if you are prepared to transit with your bags between platforms and trains.
